Bilderberg Meetings
Once again the secretive and mysterious gathering of global elitists will inspire controversy and anxiety among the fraternity which suspects the gathering represents a cabal of International power-mongers intent on molding the world into a place of advantage to them, and according to some, ostensibly at the expense of average citizens around the globe.
Count me as one of those.
Although not privy to what or why such sinister ulterior motives may be within the "Bilderberg Group" agenda... we do have an inkling as to the purpose of them, they have not been shy to divulge.
- Develop our plan for the world.
- March towards a world government.
By means of... supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers!
What could possibly go wrong with that, do you suppose?
In scope the Bilderberg group comprises approximately 150 exclusively invited leading politicians and business people who are gathered annually for four days of discussion about the future of the world.
Previous attendees of the group, which meets once a year in a five-star hotel, are said to have included Bill Clinton, Prince Charles and Peter Mandelson, as well as dozens of company CEOs, elected representatives of government, financiers, bankers and various monetary fund managers.
At the first meeting in 1954, the aim was said to be an attempt to bolster US-European relations and prevent another world war.
More recently under the group's leadership of former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and one-time EU vice president, Viscount Davignon, the aim is purportedly to allow Western elites to share world-altering ideas, for what purpose... we shall see shortly.
Subsequent to the exposure brought by alternative fringe media over the years (such as this humble blog spot), the Bilderberg group stopped enjoying the mainstream media blackout it once "enjoyed" and at least some major news channels now admit these "in-clandestine meetings" exist, a small step to transparency, which is good.
Still, the topics discussed and the decisions arrived at are kept strictly private, this is the main reason many think the gathering is for nefarious purpose, for... if not, disclosure and transparency would be forthcoming
It is beyond creepy to realize an unelected cabal of global power-mongers meet annually to discuss what will happen to "your" world and "destiny"... under their unwelcome influence in the coming months.
What is the goal of the Bilderberg group according to them?
David Rockefeller said during the 1991 Bilderberg meeting held in Baden, Germany...
“We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years.”

The sentiment is appreciated David but speaking for myself - "Thanks... but - NO Thanks."
I have seventeen direct family members who sacrificed mightily to defend and defeat others who had the same goal and objective and aspiration towards impinging on our freedoms and choices against our will, we did it before and if necessary will do so again.
Manipulation through collusion is still manipulation and collusion even if conducted in a shadowy world of puppet string pulling and unsubtle swaying of socio-economic factors in a bid to consolidate supreme power over the inhabitants of the world.
At least other misguided and deranged "actors" who would have subjected us to their personal vision of control were honest and out in the open about it and did not hide behind the skirts of "subterfuge and false benevolence"-- like a con-trickster or blood sucking thief of the night" If your intent was good it would not need to be hidden and if it were for our benefit we would be basking in contentment.
As it is, many of us are NOT! Conversely... you and your puppet show crew are!
I will grant you the benefit of success of your plans for the past decade... in that the Bilderberg Group agenda has been played out and the world is--how it is, credit to implementation of Bilderberg Group plans of yesteryear--

David, I wish the result was-- as you say, "... a preferable alternative."
If I could see any glimmer of improvement over previous times I might have even jumped on you bandwagon, but since the time these corporate sponsored interferences to democracy and freedom commenced, I do not see that result at all. In fact I see quite the opposite.
What I see is a world willfully reduced to an abject state of ruin and collapse wrought by ill-advised, wanton, reckless and illegal practices associated with an attempt to force a march towards a world government, to the benefit of a few at great cost to the many.
That in a nutshell is todays reality.
I ascribe credit for failed globalist strategies to those that collude with the likes of the Bilderberg crew, since by admission you collectively have conspired and are yet conspiring to ferment, encourage and execute continued support for world-wide ecological, societal and economic ruination on a scale unprecedented in the annals of human history or experience - the manner in which you have done this is moot.
The heinous result of world socio-economic carnage is not lessened by your stealth or false faced benevolence.
I have only one question of those that willfully plan our demise at these meetings- "How do you all sleep at night?" (If my concern is viewed as "nut bar" or "wing-nut" then I wear those tags with pride.)
As usual... if I am incorrect I welcome any and all suggestions to the contrary.
