It is not often I am able to report a situation where a government actually responded to the needs and desires of it's employer, the tax payer.
Most often Governments are engaged in feathering corporate interest nests and regard their constituents as a nuisance factor.
Today I have the pleasure of reporting a small illustration of the power of public outcry, although small and trivial looking, the example does show an important strategy--that of cohesive public outcry-- which can get the attention of pedestal riding, self-mounted governance and get action against absurd and ridiculous legislation.
In the heavy handed Marxist enabled... NWO inspired Fascism slanted governance we experience daily, this instance provides a modicum of hope for reversal.
Reconstituting equitable treatment of citizens may well be in motion. We should not discount the power of hue and cry and should exercise it with vigor.
There is certainly no shortage of ill-advised, wanton or even insane legislation and policy foisted upon us by elitist self-serving politicos, which beg and cry for public push-back. The tide demands reversal.
Note: This is not a political piece, all political parties are cut from the same cloth--the point is about getting them to respond regardless of their label.
Typical of such travesty...
Government reverse course on foreign worker program after public outcry
All of a sudden, Canadians were no longer qualified to do their work.
One company made Mandarin language a prerequisite for performing routine mechanics work. A bank laid off employees but not before insisting they train their foreign worker replacements... this example of absurdity ballooned as could be expected. Meanwhile highly educated and skilled Canadians were rejected by employment agencies because they were "legal" and therefore not suitable candidates to fill their order books, which had specific stipulations of course...
This... while unemployment rates soared.
The temporary foreign workers were treated poorly and worked under the threat of immediate "rotation" if they expressed any form of discontent.
A small example yes, but with cohesive focus and a cogent well informed direction and thrust... the will of the people can be a powerful way to effect positive changes.
Efforts to protest governmental doltishness--usually founder and dissipate due to a wide and bewildering set of grievance and a lack of cohesive delivery.
Perhaps prioritization of concern, agreement of support and laser focus on the top priority would yield effective result. Remaining fringe and adamant ensures splintering and often skirts illegal dissent.
It is important that change be effected as prescribed by law... public outcry fits the bill.
Stay tuned...

Government reverse course on foreign worker program after public outcry
OTTAWA – After weeks of public outcry over the scarcity of Canadian jobs, the Conservative government delivered a pink slip Monday to a series of controversial changes it made last year to the temporary foreign workers program.
Employers will no longer have flexibility to set the wages for foreign labour, calling a halt to what was known as the 15 per cent rule, Immigration Minister Jason Kenney told a news conference.
That rule allowed businesses to pay foreign workers up to 15 per cent below median wages, if that’s what they were paying Canadians.
The Conservatives are also calling a temporary halt to a program that fast-tracked the ability of some companies to bring in workers from outside Canada through what’s known as an accelerated labour market opinion.Perhaps well intentioned, this particular foolhardy treat for greed driven corporate interests was soon perverted and used to do what one would expect plunderers to do.
