Vorige week hebben we van GPreplicas in de schaal 1/43 de 1991 Ferrari 643 van Jean Alesi en Alain Prost ontvangen. Omdat deze modellen zó mooi zijn en sowieso de Ferrari 643 een prachtige auto is, nog eens de foto's, voorzien van de bijgeleverde Marlboro decals:

Gisteren kregen we een nieuwe levering binnen van Minichamps met modellen van drie grote coureurs die samen maar liefst 8 kampioenschappen hebben behaald: 1993 Ayrton Senna,  McLaren Ford MP4/8,  Donington GP winner Scale 1/18,  Produced by Minichamps 1992 Nigel Mansell,  Williams Renault FW14B,  World Champion Scale 1/18,  Produced by Minichamps 1993 Alain Prost,  Williams Renault FW15C,  World Champion Scale 1/43,  Produced by Minichamps

Deze week hebben we van Bburago in zowel schaal 1/43 als in schaal 1/18 de Monza uitvoeringen ontvangen van de GP van vorig jaar waarbij LecLerc en Sainz een speciale livery hadden. Bestel hier . De Leclerc uitvoering in schaal 1/18 liep sneller als verwacht, daarvan ontvangen we komende week nog een kleine nalevering.

As the above image shows, the daily sea surface temperature between 60°South and 60°North reached a record high level on March 31, 2023, i.e. the highest temperature in the NOAA record that started in 1981.  This record high sea surface temperature comes as we're moving into an El Niño, as illustrated by the image on the right, adapted from  NOAA . Moving from the bottom of a La Niña to the peak of a strong El Niño could make a difference of more than half a degree Celsius, as illustrated by the image below, adapted from  NOAA . Furthermore, sunspots look set to reach a high maximum within years, and the 2022 Tonga submarine volcano eruption did add a huge amount of water vapor to the atmosphere, as discussed in an earlier post .  Even more dangerous than high global sea surface temperatures are sea surface temperatures in the North Atlantic, which have been at a record high for the time of year for some time, climbing to well above 20°C on March 29, 2023, ...
